Ingredients:
- 3 cups plain flour
- 1 1/2 cups salt
- I tablespoon cream of tartar
- 3 tablespoons oil
- food colouring (usually a capful is enough)
- 3 cups boiling water
How to:
Add flour, salt and cream of tartar into a bowl. Mix together.
Mix the oil, food colouring and boiling water into a pouring jug. It’s best to add the food colouring this way so it mixes evenly.
Pour the liquids into the dry ingredients.
Mix well.
If the mixture appears a bit ‘sloppy’, put some flour into a board or kitchen bench and knead the playdough, adding more flour if necessary.
Place into an container. I usually recycle a 4-litre ice-cream container and it keeps for ages!!
